Simple, Yet Gourmet Fresh Clam Red Sauce

INGREDIENTS
- 1 jar of Ippolito's Naturally Italian Spicy Tomato Sauce
- 1 cup white wine
- 2 pounds fresh clams, cleaned
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Grated Parmesan cheese for serving (optional)
- Cooked linguine or preferred pasta
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a large skillet, pour the entire jar of Ippolito's Naturally Italian Spicy Tomato Sauce.
- Pour in 1 cup of white wine and let it simmer for a few minutes to combine with the spicy tomato sauce
- Add the cleaned fresh clams to the sauce
- Simmer for 10-15 minutes or until the clams open. Discard any clams that do not open
- Stir in fresh parsley
- Serve the sauce over cooked linguine or your favorite pasta
- Optionally, top with grated Parmesan cheese.
